Think about this deeply and give me an answer--should pitbulls only be allowed to live with select owners?

All dogs can be dangerous in the wrong hands. Your theory is flawed. ALL dogs should only be allowed to live with select owners. If those bad owners you speak of couldn't have pit bulls, they would have... say... German shepherds. And then GSD maulings would be common in that area. Think about what you are suggesting. You are suggesting that pit bulls are the only dogs capable of being in the wrong hands. Which is just not true. That lady could have just as easily threw a GSD, or a Chihuahua, or a Doberman, or a Papillon in a garbage can, as well. People like that shouldn't own any dogs. Pit bull or not.
