I am too scared to publish.?

Basically i'm 15, and i spent the last five years writing my novel. My parents say i have a very wild imagination, and a certain way with words. They always brag about me to family and friends, so i feel a certain pressure. No one has ever read my novel, i'm too scared. My friends and family say i should face the world with what i've got and not be afraid, but i am...I just need help.
