How can I find a job?

I never had a job so i have no job experience that i could brag about. I have searched in lot of places but recently stopped searching because hearing how the economy is still doing bad it has really gotten my hopes down. What are the chances of finding a job while the economy is still doing bad if I try looking for one every day? Where should I start?
